It is with a heavy heart that I write this message to the Dunleavy and Perry families... Barbara and I first met at Fun Cuts in Newtown, CT when our boys - Alex & Robert - were getting haircuts. I liked her instantly as she was genuine, warm and very friendly. We shared the progress of our boys in school and throughout their participation in town sports. I always enjoyed her company, our conversations and many common things in our lives. With time - as often happens - we drifted apart in pursuit of our different directions. She moved to NJ and I moved back to my home town of Fairfield, CT. However, my memories of Barbara have always provoked a big smile and fondness of times spent together. It was very painful to hear of her passing yesterday. With heartfelt sympathies to John, Alex and extended family members, ~Alicia & Robert Hutchins~

I am so saddened to hear about Barb's passing. She was a light and a pure spirit that we all love to see and remember. Always thinking of others as I remember her. Her family was so devoted to being around those they loved. God bless Barb and John and Alex.
