I hope my obituary will some day have as handsome a photograph and glowing comments as did Paul's. I spent 1970 /1971 in Innsbruck with Paul. A special experience for each of us. I am so proud to read of his life's work. My condolences and sorrow for your loss. Bill

I was a colleague of Paul's at Fair Lawn High School. He was a calm, steady presence at the school, and he always had a smile for me. We often enjoyed chatting about our families when we saw each other. I also have two daughters, and we shared stories our children, and his grandchildren. He was so proud of all of you and spoke really lovingly of his family. Know that he will be missed at the school. I hope you all can find some solace in your memories of him. I was fortunate enough to work in Paul’s classroom for the past 2 years. He was a teacher that all of his students respected. I will miss his humor and our conversations. My thoughts and prayers go out to Deanna and his daughters and their families. We’ve lost a great one.

Coach Larsen, to me, was a eminently qualified human being as well as one or the most passionate coaches, mentors and colleagues that I have been fortunately graced by throughout my own life and professional career. My prayers and sincere condolences to Deanne at this very difficult time in life. Paul was a beautiful man and I will miss his smile and encouraging ways on the field and in life. Peace and love.
