My deepest condolences to the Baten family in the loss of your loved one. I met Ann when I joined First Baptist Church after my family moved to New Jersey following one of the most horrific hurricanes, Hurricane Katrina, devastated New Orleans in 2005. Ann introduced herself and proceeded to advise my family in how to access aid from the Morris County Social Services Office of Temporary Assistance. I will continue to have fond memories of Ann Baten. May the family continue to find comfort in our Heavenly Father who comforts us all.

Hello Family, I'm so sorry to hear of Annie's homegoing. I am her cousin, her father Charlie was my father's (William Artis Sallie) brother. We lived in the Wightman community all our lives, and I really never got a close relationship with family in the north. We did meet on a couple of occasions and these I will treasure. I will pray for you as you go through this difficult time.

I cannot remember a time where Ann has not been in my life. As a young child, I remember Ann always being around. Her brother, Petie, is my "Godfather", so there was a special connection. On behalf of my family, I extend sincere condolences to the Baten family and know that my heart is very heavy.
