I read about James' death in the Star Ledger. I am so sorry for your loss. Death of a loved one is very distressing even if the person is elderly or sick. The Bible teaches us that death was not part of God's original plan. He wanted man to live forever, in perfect health, on a paradise earth. Man disobeyed God and brought about sin and death to the human race. God's plan will still be realized. Isaiah 55:11 states, "So my word that goes out of my mouth will be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly accomplish whatever is my delight. It will have sure success in what I send it to do." The Bible talks about a resurrection of those who have died. (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29) The Bible account in John 11:1-44 details a resurrection Jesus performed and which gives us the certainty that the resurrection of our loved ones will occur. The word resurrection in the Bible literally means "a standing up again" and "revival of the dead". The provision for resurrection of the dead is a magnificent expression of God's undeserved kindness. It displays his wisdom and power and is a means by which his original purpose regarding the earth and humans will be carried out. There is such a wealth of hope and knowledge we can find in the pages of the Bible. Sincerely, Paula

All of the Toto family members extend our sincere sympathy to the Prisco family. The Toto family and the Prisco family have many locked memories to share. Carmine Toto, Sr. and Jim Prisco both had businesses and would work together in general contracting. Angela Toto had a relationship with Mary and would enjoy spending time together with her. When Jim Prisco donated his time to the Madison Ambulance building, C. Toto & Sons volunteered to work alongside of Prisco Company and work together. Not long ago Jim jr. , brought his dad to Toto’s Villa and were able to share some Italian food and wine traditions together. Jim Prisco was a gentle, kind man and I loved seeing him at SVM and talking to him. You could feel the sincerity of his heart reaching you. Many times my husband would give his son, Jim, jr. some of the Villa Rose Wine to share with his dad.
I loved meeting and having conversations with his daughter, Donna and only wish I could give a hug and kiss to her to comfort her.
We hope to continue the long time relationship with this wonderful loving family.

Our sincere sympathies to longtime childhood friend Donna & brother Jim.
Living a street away, on North Street, the Prisco home was well known. Mrs.Prisco (Mary) was a beautiful woman, always nice to all us neighborhood kids...she complimeted her dear husband in every way! Quite a striking couple!
But my fondest & most recent memory of Mr.Prisco Sr. were my encounters with him each morning at 8:30 mass @ St.Vincent Martyr church. He & Donna would sit in the same area as myself, and I always admired, even in his later years, the devotion he so reverently displayed. His kind and gentle smile & grasp of my hand at the gesture of "peace", touched my heart. You could feel the warm, loving man he was to all, just in a handshake.Along with making me smile, I could see why he was so reveered in the business world as well...a man's handshake meant alot in those days!
I will think of him at 8:30 mass each day. I will visualize that warm smile...but I will miss that firm yet gentle handshake, of a man I will ALWAYS respect. You & Mary are once again together, and with the God you always showed devotion to...that is the consolation of saying "goodbye" to such a monumental man!

Ann Marie. Thank you for your beautifully written memory. I remember Dad saying when we saw you at mass “ is that Riggins daughter”. After that he always remembered you. We did have a great childhood in Madison with wonderful families in close proximity. Stay well. Love
