Rose’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". There will never be another "Rose"! She was a surely a joy to know! A dear, kind friend to my mom, Helen, and one of the best story-teller's I know. Her life was spent working hard, playing hard, but mostly loving all those in her world...her sacrifices were many, and despite her many heartaches of loss, she forged on. We had a very deep respect for the woman she was. We will never forget her...she left a legacy. The nicest consolation is she is finally where her heart wanted to be...with her husband,, son, daughter & the mom she longed to see. Rest in glory dear Rose!

I’m Rose’s favorite Irish grandson-in-law. I’m her only Irish grandson-in-law but that’s an inconsequential detail. I remember family gatherings - I would always sit next to Rose and tease her. I knew I was making headway when she started swearing at me in Italian. Everyone would laugh. Rose has been like a grandmother to me. I lost mine when I was young. I’m so glad that my daughters grew up knowing their great grandmother, Mimi! God rest your soul Mim! I’ll miss you!!
