Obituary of Sebastian "Buddy" Firriolo
Sebastian “Buddy” Firriolo, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 19, 2018 with his family by his side. He was 92.
Buddy is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Josephine Firriolo (nee Salvo); one daughter, Michelle Goodwin and her husband, Bruce of Madison; one son, Michael Firriolo and his wife, Linda of Wayne; one brother, Salvatore Firriolo; one sister, Antoinette Stuppiello; 6 cherished grandchildren, Mackenzie, Andrew, Jennette, Macintyre, Mackaella and Macclaren; many nieces, nephews and good friends at the Madison Senior Citizen’s Building. He is predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
Buddy was born on November 20, 1925 in Manhattan, NY. He was raised in Manhattan and lived there for many years before moving to Queens, where he and his beloved wife lived for 47 years. The couple then moved to Madison 12 years ago to be closer to their family. Buddy was a professional color matcher for many years with Cellucraft in Long Island and several other printing companies. He retired many years ago. Buddy was an active member of the Elks Club, loved bowling and was a true Yankees fan.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 24, 2018 a 10:00AM at St. Vincent Martyr RC Church, Madison. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to celebrate Buddy's life from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.
