Obituary of Bill Piccolo

Bill Piccolo, of Rockaway, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center after a long illness. He was 66.

Bill was born in Morristown and was raised in Madison. He lived in Morristown for 30 years before moving to Rockaway 10 years ago.

Bill leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Robin; his daughter, Tarynne; his twin sister, Sandi Biasi (Tom), two brothers, Jim and Sam Piccolo; two grandchildren; four nieces and nephews; three great-nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; and his beloved dog, Luna. He was predeceased by his parents, Sam and Rose Piccolo, and a sister, Barbara.

Bill earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison. He was the owner of Park Avenue Sub-It of Summit for many years, a deli/catering service. Before establishing his own business, he was employed by Mepco Electra, an electronics firm in Morristown.

Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing softball, and he was a football fan. He was also an active supporter of animal welfare and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Morris Plains Council #3495.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 1:00PM to 4:30PM, with a funeral service to begin at 4:30PM, at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison. Cremation will be held privately at the family's request.

Memorial donations can be made in Bill's Memory to the Eleventh Hour Animal Rescue, 861 Route 10 East, Randolph, NJ 07869.
