So sorry to hear of Billy's passing. He was always a friendly guy that I knew from gym class at MHS. The type of guy who was always smiling and had a good word to say about people. He was one of the people who made high school more enjoyable. So sorry to here of his passing and my condolences to his family.

Sandi, Jimmy and Sam- Your brother was a friend since St. Vincent's and I did see him often during his tenure in Summit, where I worked as well. I am sorry for not being available for the service but I had commitments. my deepest sympathy to the family. Joe

To the Piccolo family, Thought I should add a follow up to my condolence left earlier today. In it, mentioned calling Billy "Memo", that was his name his spanish teacher hung on him! Seems there were two Williams in his class, and the other William was called "Guillermo", "William" in spanish (think I spelled it correctly), so to avoid confusion in class, Billy got "Memo" as his name! In conversations tonight with a few other friends in our group from back in the day, they don't recall calling him that, so maybe I'm the only one who might have teased him with it. Just thought I'd add a little clarity to one of my memories of Billy! RIP "Memo" RIP! Tony Mezzacca Madison, NJ

To the Piccolo family, I am shocked and saddened to learn of Billy's passing. "Memo", as we called him back in our days of roaming the halls of MHS, was a close friend, tho I was ahead of him in school, (grad class '68 MHS), we hung out a lot together, part of our gang, Robbie, Jimmy, Steven! A little spark plug of a kid, he was a great wrestler! He has left this planet too soon. My sincerest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
