Shocked and saddened to hear about Scott. I worked for Scott at Bear Stearns - JP Morgan from 2005 until 2013. In many ways he was "The Man", when i was new at Bear, i used to watch the parade of people going into his office all day long for his approval on issues. My condolences to the entire family.

My heartfelt condolences to Thea and your entire family. I am heart broken to hear of Scott's passing. I personally worked for Scott for 25 years. Scott was not only by far the best boss that anyone will ever have, he was a great mentor, very fair, respectful, kind, a gentleman, and the smartest person who can speak on any topic discussed. He was funny and spoke highly of his family and pets. Scott shared numerous stories of the kids, grandkids, pets (esp of the parrots talking) and his family life. He is someone who I am proud to call my friend. Scott used to call me his right hand and I was always happy to help him. I will miss his calling everyone “June” and calling maternity leave a “vacation”. I have 25 years of wonderful memories of his humor and friendship. Rest In Peace My Friend, Love Always, and Until We Meet Again!

Thea and Family- With heartfelt condolences for the loss of your beloved husband and father, our sympathies go out to you in this time of need. Scott was a warm and caring person. He always tried to put a smile on one's face and give good advice when asked. Let's not forget what a good cook he was and how kind and gentle he was to his pets. A very low maintenance person, Scott wasn't interested in material things for himself. He was more than happy to share things with his family. His memory will live long in our hearts.
