Joan and I met September of 2002, when we bought our homes the same week and practically next door to each other. We quickly grew from neighbors to great friends. We shopped at Costco together, dined together, did airport runs for each other and shared great times, often with Rachel too and Mo. Joan even got me to golf once despite my inability and dislike for the game. Most of all, Joan always encouraged me and everyone in her company, giving positive feedback to any situation. I loved her like my sister and will miss her smiles and encouragement. I pray you are at peace now, my dear friend and will miss you tremendously.
