Obituary of Wayne N. Parisi

Wayne Nicholas Parisi of Madison, NJ died peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, after a valiant, several decade battle with autoimmune kidney disease. He was 57.

Wayne was born in Summit on July 17, 1965. He was raised in Edison with his two sisters and graduated from JP Stevens High School.

From the time Wayne was a boy he exhibited a natural interest in building. He built a doll house for his sisters and a tree house for neighborhood friends. He started his own painting business while attending college then established Parisi Builders, a residential construction business upon graduation. He built over 300 custom homes and housing developments throughout Madison, Chatham, Summit and Berkeley Heights.

Wayne took tremendous pride in his work and established a reputation for being a perfectionist in home building. Local inspectors frequently recommended Wayne to prospective clients due to his reputation as a craftsman.

Wayne was most proud of being a provider and father to his four children, Alexis, Blake, Nicole and Krysta. He was a loyal Yankees fan. He loved watching his son Blake play baseball. His family gave him the strength to survive two kidney transplants and chronic health issues associated with the transplants. Rather than allow his illness to get in the way of his accomplishments, Wayne always maintained an easygoing nature and found humor in every life situation. His sense of humor leaves behind memories his family and friends will cherish for the rest of their lives.

Wayne is survived by Linda Parisi of Stirling and their four children, Blake Parisi, Alexis Parisi, Nicole Parisi and Krysta Parisi; his father, Nicholas Parisi; his mother, Gloria Faiello Stuart; and two sisters, Jill Parisi and Joy Parisi.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation to celebrate Wayne’s life from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 14, 2022 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.

Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd, Chatham. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
