I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Oehler as a homeroom teacher and for English and Math. Her classes were interesting. She truly cared about her students. Thanks to Mrs. Oehler for encouraging me to develop my skills as a poet. I remember when our language arts class made little booklets of poetry and sold them to classmates and to staff at ECLC.
I remember the entire English class winning a poetry contest.
She had a great sense of humor and was very creative.
I enjoyed listening to her stories of Lake George as well.
May she rest in peace. Mrs. Oehler had an impact on so many lives.
