Obituary of Peter S. Hampson

Peter Spencer Hampson, a lifelong Madison resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on Thursday, May 12, 2022. He was 53 years old. 

He is survived by his wife, Sue Shakil and her three children, Manal, Huzaifa and Ibti; his mother, Ann Hampson; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his dog, Spencer. He was predeceased by his father, Peter Hampson Sr.

Peter grew up in Madison and graduated from Madison High School. He then attended Morris County College. He worked as a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser for 30 years and was employed by Advanced Appraisal Associates where he was a Review Appraiser.

Among his hobbies were music, motorcycles, traveling, camping, and cars. He was also very knowledgeable on Politics which led to his involvement in 2nd Amendment Rights.

Peter enjoyed friendship with many different people and was very devoted to his dog, Spencer.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation for Peter on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM held at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.

All may gather at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison, on Monday, May 16, 2022 for Liturgy of Christian Burial that will be held at 10:00 AM. Those who wish to attend the Funeral Mass virtually can visit svmnj.org.

Interment will follow at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Madison.
