I first met Joan as an instructor at the MMC School of Cardiovascular Technology and later knew her as a coworker. She was always kind, patient and friendly. She will be missed.

I called her my girlfriend! We lived next door to Joan for just about 18 years and we loved her! She was sweet and kind and never said a bad thing about anyone or anything! I will truly miss her! May she RIP!

I will always cherish the time that you let me live with you after I graduated from college. It was just you and me, eating ice cream in the evenings while watching Grey's Anatomy. I am thankful that I had you just down the street in college so when I was sick you could take me back to see to my first pediatrician, Dr. Frenda (and they told me I was getting too old to see a pediatrician anymore, heh.) Most of all I am glad you had your sister, my mother, and grandma to meet you. I love you, Aunt Joan.
