Obituary of Frances Romano

Frances Romano (née Fredericks), a lifelong Madison resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 18, 2021. She was 95.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph Romano and her granddaughter, Lisa Lorenzo. Left to mourn her passing are her son, Frank Lorenzo and his wife, Pam of Washington, NJ; and her daughter, Patricia Will and her husband, Walter of West Winfield, NY. Beloved grandmother to Frank Lorenzo, Jr. and his wife, Joan; and great-grandmother to Andrea and Amanda Lorenzo.

Frances was a lifelong resident of Madison and was well known for baking pies, cakes and Italian Christmas cookies to share with friends, relatives and businesses in town, especially Madison Pharmacy and Lakeland Bank.                                                                              

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main St, Madison. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the funeral home, followed by funeral service at 11:00AM led by Rev. Msgr. George Hundt. Interment will follow at Saint Vincent’s Cemetery, Madison. 

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Frances.
