Obituary of Grace Zotti
Grace Zotti, a longtime Chatham Township resident, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. She was 94.
Grace was born in Newark to her loving parents, Frank and Grace Schimpf. She was raised in Newark and after graduating high school she went on to secretarial school where she furthered her education. Grace took a position with Blue Cross & Blue Shield in Newark as a secretary, where she worked for several years.
Grace was married to James R. Zotti and the couple settled in Irvington where they raised their two sons. The family relocated to Chatham Township over thirty years ago. Grace was a wonderful mother and she loved to spend time with her family. Grace loved the holidays and she enjoyed socializing with their many friends. She was a longtime member of the daughters of the VFW in Irvington.
Grace will be deeply missed and her memory will be cherished by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Grace was predeceased by her husband, James R. Zotti in 2018. She is survived by her two beloved sons, James Zotti of Chatham Township & Dr. Robert Zotti and his wife Tristi of Hermantown, MN; four cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Rhianna, Alexis & Tylor; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison followed by a 1:00PM funeral service held at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
