This line from Jennie's obituary rings so true and is a testament to the kind of person Jennie was: "Jennie did not lose her battle with cancer. She won her fight, triumphantly, vanquishing the disease by living her days fully, with bright eyes and a beautiful heart." Thats exactly true. Jennie wasn't walking around looking for sympathy. In fact, most people had no idea what she was going through. She was dealt this awful hand, Stage 4 metastatic cancer. Yet somehow she kept such a positive attitude. She was very matter of fact whenever discussing this disease. Taking punches as they came. How courageous. Those words are true, she didnt let this disease take over her life -- she continued being the best mom, the best wife, friend.. She continued living.
She has this quote on her facebook biography page: "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain". She did exactly that, she danced in the rain. What an inspiration you were, Jennie.
Avery, sweetie. Your mom loved you more than anything in this entire world. You brought her so much happiness. I'm a mom also and so I can tell you, there's no force more powerful than a mothers love for her child. None. In the whole world. And because that force is so powerful, I believe that your mommy will never truly be gone, I believe she'll be by your side, always.

Mrs. Byram was my son's teacher in MKM education center, Berkeley Heights, NJ back in 2014. She was an excellent teacher with great heart of love and patience. She spent lots of time and effort helping my son learn and improve his behaviors. She kept us updated almost every day with what my son did at school, what skills he mastered... We were so grateful to her for everything she had done.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss. May her soul rest in peace.

Having the pleasure to being an Uncle to Jennie, gave me a front row seat in her life. I watched and cherished from a little girl to a grown women. All of her accomplishments, her beauty, and the life choices she made. Her greatest choice was picking a man like John to be her husband and guide her through her life. Jennie was a wonderful niece, but like the daughter I never had who I loved and cherished. My heart is so broken with her lost, but she left behind beautiful memories and a beautiful daughter Avery. Avery reminds me of Jennie in so many ways. So, I guess now I can again be a great uncle to Avery and watch her grow from a little girl to a beautiful woman like her Mom. Jennie will be greatly missed, and I loved her so much. I will cherish all my memories of her to mend my broken heart.

A Mother’s Memory
Dear Lord thank you for entrusting me with the gift of your precious daughter, my daughter Jennie. Our mother daughter relation was rooted in love trust and understanding. From a little girl Jennie had always know what was important to her, family, love, service and dear friendships. She also knew that she wanted to be a teacher and worked towards achieving that goal, graduating with a double bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and English. Jennie had always shared with me that wanted to meet her prince charming and have a family. Which she did, in June of 2012 she married her prince charming, John Byram a man beyond measure. During September of 2014, their family grew with the birth of their daughter Avery. I can continue to write about my daughter forever, or about our daily phone conversation, but I won’t. Today I sit here wiping away my tears waiting for a call from Jennie which will never come. What I hold true in my heart is Jennie was a blessing, from the Lord. Her eyes told me much, her smile made me smile and when we cried, we cried together. Jennie has given me many precious memories, from birth to my last kiss on her forehead. I await the time when we will once again be united in the Kingdom of God.

We were able to celebrate our graduations, marriages, and birth of our children together. You truly live on through the lessons and love you shared with Avery. I met Jenny through her grandmother Lila. I work at the assisted living community Lila resides at, so I had the pleasure of getting to know the immediate family. I cannot express how heartbroken I am about Jenny, and for her loving and supportive family. Jenny was a salt of the earth type of lady...classy, generous, loving and selfless. If you know her mother and grandmother, you see those traits are just something they all possess in their DNA. Seeing how Jenny was raising her daughter, there is no doubt in my mind her daughter will keep that amazing DNA and legacy going. God bless her family and help them through this challenging time. Heaven just got another beautiful angel to watch over us.

Jennie is my younger sister but even know im the eldest. I have always looked up to her. My sister's strength love and determination, I will always admire. She was wise before her years. When we were little kids she knew her profession. She would become a teacher. At that time I didnt understand but later I relized at young age my sister knew who she was and knew what she wanted to become. I watched her excell in school sports and life. Im so happy she met her other half John and became a devoted wife and mother to her beautiful daughter Avery. Family was always so important to her. She was a loving wife mother daughter sister niece aunt and friend. I could go on and on about how unbelievable my sister was and im sure you all know. She will always be in my heart. I will never forget the greatest sister a brother could have. I wish there was more time but the imprint she left is timeless. My son Maddox is so much like my sister, so I am lucky to watch him grow and see my sister in him. Love always Cyle your big little brother. Love always Maddox. Love always my wife Monica. We will carry you in our hearts and thoughts. Thank you for being in our life. We love you always........
