I am so sorry to hear of my Uncle's passing. He was always such a joy to have visit my Grandparents and will be missed dearly. He had a great bond with my father after his father passed. He had great stories and was always good company. I remember he would come to see me ride at my horse barn sometimes when he was in town.

My Uncle Carl was a remarkable man, a loving husband, father and grandfather who could pretty much do anything…. from cooking a great steak to fixing anything broken around the house, he was just a real joy to be around. He was soft spoken, he was funny, he was patient, he was kind and I never witnessed him ever being angry or losing his temper. Everyone who met Carl liked him and enjoyed his company. Linda and I had so many wonderful visits with him and Kathy over the years in Chambersburg PA. Sometimes I would visit Carl by myself as it was just a short drive from my home in Falling Waters to Chambersburg. We always had something to do…..auctions and garage sales were our favorite. We would always come home with something….he usually would beat me to the best deal. When I spent the night, the next morning we would always have an enormous breakfast at the local diner "Texas Lunch".....best breakfast ever,, (esp the potatoes) then off again somewhere having fun in Chambersburg.
I will surely miss my Uncle and the times we had together, he was like a father to me. Rest in peace Uncle …… we sure had fun....and I love you for it.
