Obituary of Jennifer A Higgins

Jennifer A. Higgins, of Cedar Knolls, died peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2020. She was 82.

Jennifer was born in Harrisburg, PA on February 7, 1938 to the late Thomas and Anne Higgins. She graduated from West Catholic Prep High School outside of Philadelphia, and eventually went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Villanova University. Jennifer served our country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After her honorable discharge from the Army, Jennifer had a successful career as a Multi-Peril Field Engineer with Allendale Insurance for many years.

Jennifer thoroughly enjoyed the company of her close friends, joining them for the Holidays and on trips to Atlantic City and Pennsylvania. She also liked to play video games on the computer. Jennifer had a deep faith in God, regularly attending mass and praying the rosary daily. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church in Chatham, and was particularly fond of Fr. Mahoney. She was a kind soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jennifer was pre-deceased by her beloved parents Thomas and Anne Higgins. She is survived by many good friends.

Visitation and funeral services will be held privately for the family. Interment will be held at St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Madison Memorial Home.
