Obituary of Patricia S. Moore

Patricia Marie Moore (nee Sheeran) made her transition to heaven on December 20, 2019 at 91 years of age. She recently resided in Bethlehem Township, PA and had been a long term Madison, NJ resident. Born in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of William and Catherine Sheeran. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Willette and her husband, Leon Horton Moore, Jr. She is survived by four daughters: Cathryn (Jim) Close; Amy (Sabri) Moore; Elizabeth (David) Wankmuller and Faith (William) Lawson, four grandchildren, Melissa, David, Kate and Alex, and three great grandchildren. A drafter at Bell Atlantic Corporation for many years, Patricia was an avid knitter, painter and lover of crafts projects. She knitted hundreds of infant hats for newborns up until her death in conjunction with the Dorcas group at her church, Long Hill Chapel, in Chatham, NJ and also served as a deaconess and Pioneer Girls leader there. Her paintings are cherished in the homes of family members and friends. Interment will be held at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ with a private graveside service for family.
