Obituary of Pasqualina La Rocca

Pasqualina La Rocca (nee Cerciello), of Florham Park, died peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. She was 76.

Pasqualina was born to the late Giovanni and Giovanna Cerciello on October 13, 1943 in Somma Vesuviana, Italy. She emigrated to Madison in 1962, where she settled and raised her family. In 1996, Pasqualina relocated to Florham Park where she has resided since.

Pasqualina was a hard-working, dependable and strong-willed woman. She loved to cook for her family & friends and took great pride in her home garden. Pasqualina cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and loved them dearly.

In addition to Pasqualina’s parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Antoinette Molaro & Santina Monda. She is survived by two devoted sons, John La Rocca of Florham Park & Frank La Rocca and his wife, Jennifer of Wanaque; two brothers, Ralph Cerciello and his wife, Deidre of New Providence & Tony Cerciello and his wife, Maddalena of Madison; two sisters, Maria Ruggiero and her husband, Vincent & Louise Simonelli; her three cherished grandchildren, Creedon, Delia & Liam La Rocca; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, and dear friends.

Funeral services will begin at 9:00AM on Friday, November 22, 2019 from the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, followed by a 10:00AM Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Vincent Martyr RC Church, Madison. Interment will follow at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Madison. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation to celebrate Pasqualina’s life held on Thursday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
