Obituary of Sr. Crescenza Catalano

Sr. Crescenza Catalano, of Florham Park, was called home by the Lord peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Vocationist Sisters Convent. She was 74.

Sr. Crescenza was born in Mola di Bari, Italy on January 16, 1944 to the late Pasquale and Laura Catalano. She was raised in Italy and lived there for most of her life. She took her vows of sisterhood many years ago, prior to moving to the US to the Vocationist Sisters of Florham Park.

Sr. Crescenza took part of her religious community daily life, prayers and schedule. She loved to prepare traditional Italian meals for her religious family and friends there. She would thoughtfully name each one of her special dishes after a saint that had special meaning to her. Sr. Crescenza loved photography, cooking and nature.

All are warmly invited to attend the funeral viewing of Sr. Crescenza, Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 4-8PM at the Vocationist Sisters Convent Chapel in Florham Park NJ.

A Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:00AM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Vocationist Sisters Convent Chapel, 88 Brooklake Road, Florham Park, followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Madison Memorial Home.
