Obituary of William Bennett
William Bennett, of Mine Hill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at his home. He was 89.
William was born in Brooklyn on February 16, 1929 to the late William John Bennett and Adrienne Bennett (nee Sodaro). He was raised in Brooklyn and spent his younger years there. William would eventually meet his beloved wife, the late Margaret Bennett (nee Cipoletti), and the couple would live in Brooklyn for several years before moving to Mine Hill in 1957.
William was the owner of IBS Jewelers of Flanders for 32 years up until a year ago when he had to retire due to health issues. He enjoyed his work and was a very talented jeweler. William also enjoyed target shooting in his leisure time.
William is predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret Bennett (nee Cipoletti); his daughter, Eileen Agront; and his grandson, Richie Lucivero. He leaves behind his son, Ronald Bennett of Mine Hill; his daughter, Susan Bennett of Morristown; his 5 grandchildren, Russell Bennett, Randy Bennett, Ryan Bennett, Angelina Bennett and Jennifer Agront; and 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to honor William's life will be announced at a later date.
