Obituary of Bo Serillo
Bo Serillo, a lifelong Madison resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 63 years old. Bo was a dedicated son, husband, father, uncle and friend. He will always be remembered for his big heart, great sense of humor and always being there to help others.
Bo leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years, Deborah Serillo (nee Clark); his dear mother, Eleanor Serillo (nee DeFalco), his son, Michael Serillo; his brother, Gerald Serillo; one sister-in-law, Michelle Piraneo (Joe); four brother-in-laws, Mike Clark (Cynthia), Geoff Clark (Kristina), Brian Clark (Lenora), and Ian Clark (Mariah); 12 nieces and nephews; and a tremendous number of good friends that loved him dearly. He was "Uncle Bo" to many. Bo was predeceased by one son, Nicholas; his father, Jerry Serillo; and his mother-in-law, Rida Clark.
Bo was employed by the Borough of Madison for 22 years, he was not retired. He was a bowler and an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan. Bo also enjoyed relaxing while smoking a good cigar on the Morristown Green, listening to the Rolling Stones as well as talking with friends at CJ's Deli in Madison.
Funeral services for Bo will begin at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, followed by a 12:00PM Liturgy of Christian Burial offered at St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison. Interment will be held privately by the family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to celebrate Bo's life on Friday from 4:00PM to 9:00PM held at the funeral home.
