Obituary of Felice Bernardo

Felice Bernardo, a long-time Madison resident, died suddenly on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 59.

Born and raised in Polvica di San Felice, Italy, Felice settled in Madison with his family 44 years ago. Before retiring, Felice was a self-employed photographer. He enjoyed nature, gardening, cooking for family and friends, and was an avid soccer fan.

Felice was predeceased by his father, Vincenzo Bernardo, in 2016. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Carmela Bernardo (nee Balsamo) of Madison; his mother, Antonietta Bernardo of Madison; one son, Vincenzo Bernardo of Madison; one daughter, Antonietta Bernardo of Madison; a brother, Raffaele Bernardo of Madison; and four cousins.

Funeral services will begin at 9:00AM on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, followed by a 10:00AM Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison. Interment will follow at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Madison. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the funeral home from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home on Monday.
