Sal DeBiasse was one of my truly best friends during the years we lived in Madison, so it was inevitable that one day I'd end up at the DeBiasse house for dinner. I still remember with great surprise when we sat down at seemed to be a picnic sized table. Back then I was one of three kids in a family, so when the DeBiasse clan all came to the table it was like "Wow!" there's a lot of mouths to feed here! :-> How she managed all of it must have put a lot of points on the board for her up in heaven! :-> I do seem to recall that Mary was responsible for setting the table. Points for Mary too. :-> Mrs. DeBiasse always seemed to be cool, calm and collected despite what obviously must have been a truly full day managing everybody. I remember looking around the table and it was kinda noisy and everyone had something to say. Mr DeBiasse was obviously "the boss" and kept everyone in check. :-> The DeBiasse clan grew some more after we moved away and I'm in awe to consider how she (and Big Sal) managed 'em all. Points in heaven for Mr. D too. It was a fortunate family to have had such a wonderful, kind mother and grandmother all. RIP Mrs. D. P. S. - Condolences too in the passing of my good friend Sal. Dear Mary, Steven, Norie, John, Karen, Kathleen, David, Michael & Paul, My heartfelt sympathy to all of you. I loved your Mom very much and have many fond memories from my childhood, teenage and adult years. I'm happy I was able to see your Mom throughout the years. It was a beautiful funeral mass and repass. I haven't stopped thinking of all of you and will pray that the wonderful memories you have of your Mom will help you during this difficult time.
