Obituary of Daniel Wesley Harden

Daniel Wesley Harden, of Knightdale, NC, entered into eternal rest on June 30, 2017 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Glen Burnie, MD. He was 67 years old

Born and raised in Morristown, Daniel moved to North Carolina 23 years ago. He was a computer specialist with LabCorp in Durham, NC, before retiring in 2005.  Daniel was a member of Church of God in Christ in Morristown before moving to North Carolina. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed traveling by cruise ship.

Daniel was predeceased by his son, James D. Harden, just days before his own passing. He also is predeceased by his father, Lloyd Aaron Harden. He leaves behind his mother, Dorothy Hackett; one son, Daniel W. Harden II of Somerset; one daughter, Linda D. Harden of Fayetteville, GA; one sister, Beth Harden of GA; one brother, Lloyd Aaron Harden of GA; two sister-in-laws, Yvonne Chapman and Sharon Chapman of Madison; one grandson, Marquis Ballard; and a host of relatives and good friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM, with a funeral service at 4:00PM at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison. All may gather at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00AM to pay final respects to Daniel before the interment at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
