Obituary of Antoinette Ann Chiarolanzio
Antoinette Ann Chiarolanzio (nee Allocco), of Madison, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2017 at Hackensack University Medical center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 73.
Toni was born in Morristown on July 4, 1943 to the late Saverio and Philomena Allocco. She was raised in Madison and was a life-long resident. She and her husband, Joseph T. Chiarolanzio, opened CJ’s Deli in Madison in 1970. The couple operated it until they sold it in 2001. In her retirement, Toni enjoyed working part time at J&M Home and Garden in Madison. Toni will be remembered for taking care of everyone and for being a hard worker. She will be remembered and deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Toni leaves behind her beloved husband of 52 years, Joseph T. Chiarolanzio of Madison; two daughters, Karen Lee Belardo of Branchburg, and her husband, Anthony, and Tanya Ann Sorce of Florham Park, and her husband, Frank; her three sisters, Josephine Blair of Madison, Mary Galano of Warren, and Lucille Fritze of Wharton; and five cherished grandchildren, Jamie Lee, Jacob, Frankki Ann, Samuel, and Sydney.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00PM on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Madison Memorial Funeral Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, followed by a 1:00PM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Vincent Martyr RC Church, Madison. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at the funeral home.
