Obituary of Michela Ciccarelli
Michela Ciccarelli (nee Scotti), of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 81.
Born in Ischia, Italy, Michela and her husband, Carmine Ciccarelli, lived there until 1974 when they moved their family to the United States and settled in Madison, NJ. The family then moved to Florham Park in 2001.
Michela's life was devoted to caring for her family. She had a tremendous amount of pride in both her family and home. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for family and friends, as well as gardening at her home. She was a proud parishioner of both Holy Family RC Church in Florham Park and St. Vincent Martyr RC Church in Madison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Giuseppe and Giovanna Scotti (nee Mazzella); and one sister, Filomena Scotti. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Carmine Ciccarelli of Florham Park; her devoted daughter, Elena Ciccarelli of Florham Park; three dear sons, Luigi Ciccarelli of Manassas, VA, Giovan Giuseppe of Jersey City, and his wife, Noelle, and Carmine Ciccarelli of Hoboken; three sisters, Raffelina Iodice of Ischia, Italy, Ermelinda Camello of Brooklyn, NY, and her husband, Genarro, and Angelina Lanfreschi of Ischia, and her husband, Giovanni; and many dear friends.
Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, followed by a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Vincent Martyr RC Church, Madison. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday from 2PM to 6PM at the funeral home.
