Obituary of Thomas C. Goginsky

Thomas C. Goginsky passed away peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Chatham Hills Care Center. He was 80. Born in Duryea, Pa, Thomas was a longtime Madison resident. He then lived in Rockaway Borough and Morristown before recently moving to Chatham Township. He worked in building services at Morristown Medical Center for many years before his retirement in 2011. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Jean Goginsky (nee Loftus). He leaves behind three daughters, Deborah Bott of Rockaway and her husband Wayne, Michele Singerline of Fayetteville, NC and her husband Robert, and Karen Gventer of Cedarburg, WI and her husband John; one brother, John Goginsky of Morris Plains; three sisters, Sylvia Severnak of Pittston, PA, Gloria O’Brien of Morristown, Marcella Roberts of Bradenton, FL; six grandchildren, Nicole, Colleen, Gabrielle, Abigail, Grace, and Ryan; and one great-granddaughter, Faith. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 a 10:00AM at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Cedar Knolls. Interment will be at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Madison. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.
