I am so truly saddened to hear of Michelle's passing and my heart & prayers go out to Phillip, Dante, Damian & Philly. My deepest condolences to the Zinser family. Michelle loved family & I feel cherished that she always made me feel like a part of that family. All you Garrubbo's will always share a large part of my heart. Our time together while you lived in Atlanta has been & will always be cherished. Phillip you are the best pool boy around & thank you for making all the Atlanta aunties feel most welcome in your home. Those weekends at the house and hanging at the pool with our angel Dante & our Buddha baby were just the best. Michelle's friendship meant so much. I truly feel blessed that we were able to maintain our friendship through the years. Our plan to celebrate Michelle here in Atlanta will be a big batch of puttanesca, wine & music. Lots and lots of music.

It seems like only yesterday I heard Michelle singing Me and Bobby McGee, which she sang so darn good. It's such a terrible tragedy to lose such a beautiful person so young and full of life. Michelle was so smart, witty and funny, she made me laugh every time I saw her, which wasn't enough living miles apart. We are all numb with shock. Such a tragedy serves to remind us of how fragile life is and that we can never know what tomorrow will bring. I can only say that we all should appreciate the little everyday things of life and never take anyone or anything for granted. RIP Michelle, you will truly be missed

I fell in love with Michelle the moment I met her. Michelle was my favorite friend, for sure. I didn't just laugh with Michelle, I belly laughed with Michelle. She was much more than a best friend, she was like my sister. Michelle told me the truth, things I needed to know-even when it was hard to hear. She made me laugh in the middle of crisis moments. I'm honored to have witnessed her deep, deep love for the boys and Philip. Michelle was extra special and I'm so very sorry for your loss.

We are so deeply saddened to learn of Michelle's passing. What a beautiful person she was inside and out. Michelle was always a special part of our family from early school days at St. Teresa to our most recent contact celebrating her birthday in January. She was a joy to know, and we are so grateful she touched our lives as only she could do. We loved her so much. Sending our prayers and love to all of you.... we are so very sorry.
