Obituary of Evangelos Kariotakis

Evangelos Kariotakis (Ange) AGE: 74 • Randolph Evangelos Kariotakis (Ange), of Randolph, died on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at his home, he was 74 years old. Mr. Kariotakis was born in Morristown, N.J. and lived in Randolph for the last 48 years. He owned and operated Madison Refrigeration, a commercial air conditioning and refrigeration company for 40 years until his retirement in 1996. Ange was also a drag racer at Island Dragway and he was known as "The Hairy Greek". Ange was also an avid antique car enthusiast as well as a restorer of antique radios and jukeboxes. He is survived by his wife Kathryn (nee Brenner), his children, Anna Kariotakis, Dawn Kariotakis-Perez, and his 2 grandchildren, Indio and Nia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service Wednesday, October 14, at 11am at the Madison Memorial Home 159 Main Street, Madison. Cremation will be private. Visitation Tuesday from 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corp in his memory would be appreciated.
