Obituary of Katherine Franey Lindseth

Katherine Lindseth (nee Franey) passed away Monday morning at Chatham Hills Care Center in Chatham Township, she was 77 yesrs old. Born and raised in Morristown N.J. she had lived in Palo Alto, Ca. before moving to New York, N.Y. 30 years ago. Mrs. Lindseth earned her bachelors degree from San Jose State University in California. She had been self employed in the health and wellness industry for many years. Mrs. Lindseth was a loving and kind woman, and was active with the 92nd Street Y in New York City where she was very instrumental. Preceded in death by her husband, John Lindseth; and a sister Margaret Hill; she is survived by her children, Peter H. Bistrup, Jana O'Connor; a stepson Kevin Lindseth;, three siblings, Jayne Writt, Jim Hill, Edward Hill, five grandchildren, Katherine Rose O'Connor, Jack Heger O'Connor, Joe O'Connor, Nicholas Lindseth, and Emily Bistrup. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration of Katherine's life on Friday August 21, at 4pm at the Madison Memorial Home.
