Obituary of Kevin M. Piccolo
Kevin M. Piccolo, a longtime Madison resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024, after a long illness. He was 46.
He leaves behind his devoted parents, Raymond Piccolo and Connie Russo-Streiff; his stepfather, Andrew Streiff; one brother, Brian Piccolo; his grandmother, Dorothy Piccolo; two uncles, Frank Piccolo and Neil Russo; and one niece, Madison, as well as many dear friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Madeline Russo; and his paternal grandfather, Frank N. Piccolo.
Kevin was born in Summit on July 1, 1977. He was raised in Madison and graduated from Madison public schools. Kevin was a very athletic child and teenager before falling ill at age 20. He participated in junior football and Kiwanis club baseball and loved being with his friends. Kevin was well-loved in Madison.
Kevin always kept a positive outlook on life and had an incredibly strong will. His life was a testament to strength, faith and unwavering hope. Kevin truly inspired everyone he met.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation for Kevin on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. held at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison. Those who are unable to attend in person may attend the Mass virtually by visiting www.svmnj.org and following instructions for live-stream mass viewing.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
