Meeting friends like Jon and Susie along life's journey is the warmest of occasions! How fortunate to have been there the evening he called our dorm to ask her out...still brings goosebumps, and the rest was history. Miss them both, we shared much in our "formative" years, and my life's richer for it. Merciful travels, my friends, see you on the other side.

Jon was intelligent and warm, a true family man. He was devoted to Sue and to his children.
To think of him is to smile fondly at the memory of someone whose company was always welcome.

I am so sorry to read this! Jon was such a kind man. He and Suzie were such a "special" couple! I'm glad they are together again. We knew them from NPPC.

Jon and Susie were special friends since we first met at WVWC. We visited with them at home on a few occasions. Jon and I had a unique friendship since we were born the same day just hours apart. We always called each other on our mutual birthday with Happy Birthday wishes. We met them in Germany for a mini-reunion when Jon and I were both in the Air Force. We met at at a German bar and had a bit too much wine (Ugly Americans ?) , educated the locals with a few Wheat, Rye, , cheers!
Rest in peace with our precious Susie, Jon.
I'll miss those Birthday phone calls.

Jon and Suzie were a wonderful couple and we were very fond of them. We went to their wedding on NJ and we had to push my car in the parking lot of the reception to get it started. Suzie would swap cars with us at school her senior year while Jon was in the USAF. I was driving a 1961 Falcon and would trade with Suzie for her MGB convertible and we absolutely loved taken it on the back roads in West Virginia. Suzie and Jon were very generous people and would smile all the time. Suzie preceded Anne as being the KA Sweetheart and I must say those two were the best examples that any group could select to represent the Beta Chi Chapter.
They are now a couple again and this time of sadness brings us to reflect on how fortunate we were to have been with them during those years in college. Jon was a leader and made sure we all acted like gentlemen yet have a good time.
We will search for some pictures and send them on.
Love to the family and we wish you all the best.
