We will miss you Joe - had a lot of fun times at holidays and parties with James and his family. You and Central Lunch and your family were an integral part of the Madison community for nearly a century. A great symbol of hard work and community. Mr. DeBiase and our dad (Curtis Baten) were friends for as long as I can remember. Dad would visit the luncheon daily even before he took over. Whenever we went in he always had a smile, hug and what do you girls want? “It’s on the house!” I believe he had a newspaper clipping of my sister Kim and I running track at Madison High that hung behind the counter until the day he retired and closed its doors. I missed visiting him after he retired. Madison has lost a good man, and friend to all. Rest in peace! My condolences go out to his family and closest friends.

Joe, the first time I went into Central Lunch we introduced our selves we both laughed. When I left I said by Joey, you said a Joey was a baby Kangaroo. And l turned back and said you were the cutest Joey ever. Thanks for all the great times and laughs. Audrey
