From Suzanne’s post. Poem- When great trees fall.
So apropos for Uncle Don who was towering in wisdom and strength. So much guidance he gave to not just his children and grandchildren, but his nieces and nephews. Believe me he was loving funny straightforward honorable and a gifted mentor. He is part of who molded my character so I became a better person. I for sure was a challenge as the stories go but he took the time to shake this tree. I’ll always be grateful for him loving me. Sending my love to family and friends he is a treasure. Karen Erikson, niece.
