I am so sad to learn of my friend, Joe passing on to eternal life. Joe was my husband’s childhood friend and quickly became my friend when we married. He was in our wedding when Joe was serving in Vietnam he would touch base with us with a cassette tape. To this day I still have the gift he sent to Carmen when he was serving in Vietnam. He’ll always be my friend and I’ll keep him in my prayers. Carol, God‘s blessings shine on you and your family as you mourn your dear dear husband.

Dear Carol and all members of the Kitchell and Chiarolanzio families,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Joe's death. I remember Joe as an older kid we looked up to. I can still see his smiling face and congenial disposition. I think back to my days growing up in Madison. All of our families were tied together in one way or another and it truly affected our development and maturing into respectful and contributing adults. The Kitchells, the Chiarolanzios, the Vibberts and my own family made all of us kids appreciate the value and tradition of growing up in Madison. I continued to see this in my work at both the Junior School and the Recreation Department. I treasure these memories still as a seventy four year old. Joe was a part of this legacy and will surely be rewarded in heaven for this. Stay strong. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
