George supported many of my tech startups. He traveled with me and gave us great advice on raising money and on strategy. He was a great person and very well respected by everyone in the industry.

George and I met in 1989 when we spent a week in my office at Cisco -- I was Cisco's first marketing hire -- where we created the first draft of the IPO presentation. We remained fast friends from that moment on, meeting for lunch or drinks at dozens of conferences over the years or during his trips to Silicon Valley. He was truly one of the few good guys in tech and is very much missed.

George and I worked together back in the 70's and shared many dinners in the years that followed. I am glad that I was able to attend the visitation yesterday to say good bye to George and see Barb and Eileen again and meet many from the family. Love was in abundance as I fully expected would be the case.
George was such a special person. He was a joy to be with. I will miss his wit, the sparkle in his eyes, his infectious laugh and his ongoing friendship. I will never forget him and wish him peace on his journey forward.

My condolences to George's beautiful family. George was an amazing contributor to so many and for so many - always selflessly helping others. I know he and Pat are enjoying a celebration in heaven, praying for all of us. May the light that George brought to the world continue to shine through those many that he supported and helped over the years. As a fellow NJIT alum - I know his gifts there will continue throughout the life of the university! Blessings, Christine

In Loving Memory of George: A Remarkable Friend and Mentor
My heart is weighed down with a heavy and profound sadness, knowing that George is no longer with us. I met George back in his days at Morgan Stanley. George was a fierce competitor who became an enduring friend, a trusted mentor, and a cherished confidant. We shared many crazy stories of Silicon Valley and tech companies together. George leaves a cemented legacy of kindness, integrity, and unwavering dedication to doing what is right.
We talked often about technology, the industry, and the people behind the seismic changes. Through it all, George reminded me of the importance of hard work, the need to do the right thing, and the guiding principles of living life as a gentleman.
George was a light of wisdom and guidance. He generously shared his knowledge over wonderful dinners in Palo Alto and New York, offering a steady hand to guide me through life's intricate paths. His advice was not just professional but extended to the complexities of life itself, reflecting his deep understanding of the human experience.
What set George apart the most was his incredible generosity. He was always ready with a helping hand, a listening ear, and a warm smile, and he always laughed at my jokes. George gave not only of his time but of his heart, caring deeply for the well-being of those around him. His responsiveness and genuine concern for others left an indelible mark on me as well as many others.
In times of ups and downs, George was a steadfast presence, a confidant because of his strength and deep-rooted foundational values. He offered comfort with his empathy and resilience with his unwavering support. I would write a short email to George and he would always get back to me with a supporting hand.
George's memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him, learning from him, and being touched by his kindness. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives he touched.
Sincerely,
Mark Sue
