I am so sorry to hear of PJ's passing. PJ was never far from my family's thoughts over all these years. He spent a lot of time at my house when he was a teenager. He actually surprised my daughter with a kitten for her birthday one year, and that kitten became our family cat, bringing my daughter and our family many years of love and happiness.
I will always remember PJ's beautiful smile, his cheerful attitude and his genuine kind heart.
My deepest sympathies to PJ's family and friends.

PJ was a really special person. I think because he was just so genuine and kind and thoughtful. There was something about him that my whole family just loved. I worked alongside him with my brother's landscaping business sometimes. He was quick to help without asking, always seemed to look out for me. And when we took a break, we would talk about things like bees, trees, living with his Dad, some funny stories. He was just so easy to be around and had a way about him that we all wanted to look out for him too. One of the last memories I have of PJ was when he came to the Christmas tree farm that I also work at this past Christmas. It was the evening, we had been sitting around a bonfire, and we all jumped on the Christmas train pulled by a tractor to check out Santa's cabin. He seemed to be in his element - looking around at the trees, bumping along to Christmas music, with his best friend. (these are a few photos from that night). With that memory, and thinking fondly of our first conversation when he told me he had wanted once to be an arborist, we are going to plant a beautiful oak tree there for PJ this spring in his memory. I think he would like that.
PJ, you will never, ever be forgotten. I'm just so sorry we won't have more of you in the years to come. Thank you for being there for my brother, being so kind to my Mom. One day, I know we'll see you on the other side and in a setting far more beautiful than the outdoors we love so much. Until then, God has called you home and you are at peace...

It was with great sadness and heartbreak to learn of the passing of sweet and kind PJ. I always looked forward to seeing PJ doing his work at our house with my son, Andrew. He was always so polite, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. A wonderful landscaper, but more, a wonderful person. I have fond memories of bringing him out some fruit or veggie smoothies in the morning and he always accepted them. And even when the veggie drinks were bitter - he had a smile and a thank you always! He was the kind of person you wanted to just adopt into your family and give him many big hugs. We will all miss PJ greatly. I'm not sure I will ever look outside my backyard without seeing him there. We will hold him close in our hearts. God bless you PJ and we know you are in the care of the Lord. We love you. Mrs. Guidone. (Andrew's Mom).

PJ was often at our house playing with Kevin. They played video games, football and did some fishing on the lake. He was always smiling and very polite. He was always welcome at our home. I am so very sorry for your loss, there are really no words. Thanks for being a good friend to Kevin! You will be missed PJ!
