Obituary of Marilyn D. Frisoli

Marilyn D. Frisoli, a longtime Madison resident, died peacefully surrounded by her family on the morning of Sunday, March 26, 2023, at home. She was 78.

Marilyn was a wonderful mother, wife and grandmother who devoted her life to her family and her faith. 

Marilyn was born in East Orange on January 29, 1945 to the late Nicholas and Bridget Russo. She was a graduate of East Orange Catholic High School, class of 1963. 

Marilyn married her beloved husband Saverio on September 23, 1972, and the couple settled in Madison where they raised their son. Marilyn was a longtime parishioner of Holy Family Church in Florham Park. 

Before retiring, Marilyn had a long career as a bookkeeper with ARA Food Service. She was responsible for the bookkeeping in the cafeterias of both Chatham High School, then East Hanover High School.  

She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, SaverioFrisoli; one devoted son, Nicholas Frisoli; two cherished grandchildren, Sabrina Frisoli & Jonathan Cuevas; two brother-in-laws, Dr. Gary Frisoli and his wife (Ornella) & Dr. Anthony Frisoli (and his late wife Denise); six nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews;  along with her cousins John and Pat La Ferrara, Fred and Patty Montefusco and Janice and Ralph Woods.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation for Marilyn on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM held at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.

Funeral Services will begin at the funeral home at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 prior to a 9:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at Holy Family Church, Florham Park. Those who wish may attend the mass virtually at www.holyfamilyfp.org

Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union

Kindly omit flowers, instead the family has requested charitable contributions in Marilyn’s memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
