I was so shocked and so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. She was my dear friend and
I will miss her. I just learned of her passing last Friday. I do not get the newspaper and
I was not able to attend Mass at the Voationists for a few weeks due to illness. When I attended Mass last Friday, December 22, Sister Perpetua told me that our Jane was in Heaven. Wow, that hit me like a ton of bricks.
Please accept my sympathy, Nick. Jane spoke of her beloved son, Nick, all the time. She loved you
and you were so lucky to have such a classy lady for your mother.
To the family janr\e Sauchlliof
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ for some may say.
