Obituary of Thomas Vecchione

Thomas Vecchione Tool company owner who emigrated from Italy in his 20s Thomas Vecchione, 71, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, in Morristown Medical Center. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 4 to 8 p.m at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main St., Madison, N.J. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent Martyr R.C. Church, Madison. Interment will follow at St. Vincent's Cemetery, Madison. Born in Quadrelle, Avellino, Italy, Mr. Vecchione came to the United States 48 years ago, settling in Madison. He was a machinist and the proprietor of International Tool Co. in Fairfield, N.J., for many years; he was currently working for the company as a consultant. Mr. Vecchione is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy (Cappellicio); two children, Anna Vecchione Sullivan and her husband, Shane, of Mendham, N.J., and Paolo Vecchione of Madison, N.J.; a brother, Gianni Vecchione of Italy, and his two grandsons, Shane Thomas and Nunzio (Zio) Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Giuseppe Vecchione.
