Phyllis was born in Morristown on February 12, 1957 and raised in Madison with her two brothers. She was a graduate of the Villa Walsh Academy in Morristown where she discovered her talent as an opera singer. As a young woman she performed on many occasions with Villa Walsh throughout New Jersey. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from St. Elizabeth University in Convent Station.

Phyllis had a career spanning over 30 years as the office manager at Tropar Manufacturing in Florham Park. She was dedicated to her company and enjoyed working with her colleagues and friends there.

Phyllis had profoundly deep faith, attended mass regularly and prayed the rosary. She was humble and always put others before herself. Phyllis had a genuine warmth and giving nature. Phyllis was extremely talented at crocheting. She took great pride in her projects and put her heart into completing each one. Phyllis brought joy to her family and friends by making them blankets as a token of her love and appreciation.

Phyllis treasured her family and was especially proud of her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She always tried to keep a positive outlook and had a strong will to live, especially during her many years of physical illness.
