Obituary of Robert DeCaro

Umberto “Robert” DeCaro, of Madison, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 70.

Robert was born in Somma Vesuviano, Italy on November 16, 1950 to the late Alfonso and Antonia DeCaro. He was a longtime resident of Madison and a veteran of the US Army and National Guard.

Robert had a long career as a machinist with Heller Industries in Florham Park prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa DeCaro of Madison; his brothers; one sister; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately for the family. Interment will be held at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Madison. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Madison Memorial Home.
