Obituary of Emelina Nicholls

Emelina Nicholls, resident of Dover, NJ died peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Pine Acres Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Madison.

Emelina was 76, born on March 25, 1944. She was an immigrant from Panama who obtained her citizenship and loved the USA. She grew up in the Bronx, NY. She then moved to Utica, NY, Jersey City, and Bayonne, NJ where she raised her four children.

She was a craftsman and loved her hobbies. She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed crochet, knitting, and needlepoint, she loved to cook and bake, she enjoyed music, dancing, and gambling, but most of all watching her movies. Her hobbies were collecting Barbie dolls, cook books, movies, and most of all her fashion jewelry.

She is survived by her blessed and beloved mother, Teresa Guzman; her brother Orlando Guzman & his wife Barbara, her eldest Thomas Gomez, Tiara Nicholls, Eric Nicholls & his wife Rie, Ursula Ruiz & her husband Juan, her six grandchildren Madison, Gabriela, Chloe, Troy, Naomi, & Mason.

Funeral services are being held privately for the family and are under the care of the Madison Memorial Home.
