Obituary of Brooke L. Plumstead
Brooke Lawrence Plumstead peacefully went home to our Lord surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at only ten years old.
Brooke was born with Canavan disease and demonstrated tremendous strength and bravery during every moment of her journey. She was undeniably sweet, special, innocent, and perfect in every way.
Brooke was born in Morristown on May 12, 2010 to her loving, devoted parents Sean and Liz. She was raised in Mendham and Long Valley with her brothers and sisters. Brooke was a student at the Matheny School of Peapack and loved going to school.
Brooke had a special relationship with her siblings, who she loved with all of her heart. She loved playing with her brothers and sisters, all things Disney, and was a big fan of Frozen. Brooke also loved swimming and being outside in the sun.
Brooke was loved by so many, and taught so many how to love. We will forever remember her beautiful smile and laugh, and hold the wonderful memories we have of our dear Brookie close to our hearts forever.
Brooke is survived by her mother, Elizabeth “Liz” Siciliano (nee Stryker) and her husband Christopher of Long Valley; her father, Sean Plumstead and his wife, Natalia Rendon of Madison; two brothers, Mason Plumstead & Albert Siciliano; two sisters, Cristiana & Theodora Siciliano; her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Deborah Stryker; her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Lucille Plumstead; her step-grandmother, Linda Siciliano (the late Albert Siciliano); three aunts, Shannon Plumstead, Ashley Speranza and her husband John, and Melissa Martinez and her husband Ricardo, many loving cousins and friends.
