Obituary of Lisa Falco-Giudice
Lisa Falco-Giudice, a longtime resident of Madison & Florham Park, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the age of 45.
Lisa was born in Summit on December 2, 1975 and was raised in Madison. She attended St. Vincent Martyr School and was a graduate of Hanover Park High School.
Lisa loved jewelry and had a sharp eye. She was fascinated with gemology ever since she was young and she went on to graduate from the Gemological Institute of America in New York City. Lisa assisted her grandfather, Joseph Falco Sr. at his jewelry shop, Rose City Jewelers/Gemologists in Madison for many years. She always felt fortunate to work with her grandfather and learn from his wisdom and experience. She could spot flaws in diamonds and gemstones like a natural.
Lisa also worked at her mother's hair salon, Strandz in Madison as a receptionist for many years. She was a familiar face at Strandz and loved working there, especially seeing the many customers that she had become friends with.
Lisa was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and friend. She always put others before herself and cared deeply about her family and friends. Lisa loved her 4 cats and referred to them as her fur babies. She loved shopping and looked forward to Mondays when she and her mother would spend the day together shopping and then having lunch together.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, Robert J. Giudice; her mother, Judith Falco Smith and her husband, Dr. Brian L. Smith, MD; her sister, Gina Falco; one niece, Gianna Becker; one nephew, Joseph Becker; her aunts, Margaret Colon & Joanne Fanto; and numerous dear friends.
