Carmen Maria was born in Philadelphia and during her childhood lived in several countries where her father worked as an engineer. She became an accomplished interior designer and established her own company, Carmen Alonso Interiors LLC, which completed major projects throughout Manhattan and south Florida.
Carmie, as she was affectionately known by many of her friends, was a generous and creative soul, whose zest for life, pursuit of beauty and enduring strength inspired all who knew her.
For everyone’s safety and well-being, the Alonso family has decided to make Carmen Maria’s service virtual. Those who wish may virtually attend a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30AM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 by visiting the main webpage of Holy Family Church, Florham Park at https://holyfamilyfp.org/ during the time of the service.
