Obituary of Martin J. Grounard

Martin Grounard, a lifelong resident of Madison, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Runnells Center for Rehabilitation in Berkeley Heights. He was 75.

Martin was born in Morristown on May 30, 1945 to the late Anthony and Mary Grounard. He is survived by his brother, John Grounard of Madison. He was raised in Madison and graduated from Madison High School, Class of 1964.

Martin was retired from the Mason’s Labor Union.

He will be deeply missed.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Martin will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at St. Vincent Martyr RC Church, Madison. Interment will be held at St. Vincent Cemetery, Madison.
